These climbing shoes are extremely comfortable. My advice is to go for something tight but also comfortable. This usually means to go for a size that's +1 your normal shoe size but it's best to get comfortable with climbing shoes as a beginner before getting another pair of 'pro' climbing shoes.
Nice climbing shoes
I started climbing just over a year ago and got these early on. They've done me great, I'm climbing at V5 now. A lot of people can't believe I can climb at that level with such a cheap pair. So basically, if you can't climb well in them, it's probably not the shoe. It might be the fit, but most likely you just need to practise and get some advice on technique ;)
Mine are definitely a bit loose now for some of the stuff I try to do, but I didn't know about sizing down when I got them. I'm a size 10.5 in normal shoes and I bought an 11 in these, because it was more comfortable to begin with. But I didn't know that climbing shoes stretch!
Now I'm trying to decide between an expensive pair OR buying these again in a smaller size. Such a hard decision, as I've come so far in them!
It hurts the ball of my foot to step on small footholds due to the lack of downturn. I’d recommend it as a warm up/endurance training shoe or intro shoe for beginners.
Loved these shoes,fit perfectly,grips great,durable, technical and good value.Shame it doesn't come in black/gray/navy.
Perfect for beginners
For the money these are excellent the Vibram s grip sole gives me so much more confidence on the wall with much less fear of slipping my previous 510 shoes were resoled with random rubber and were unsafe . The comfort means i can keep them on for a couple of hrs . In this price range i haven't seen another pair with a Vibram sole . I climb up to V4
These shoes are great to start off with. Got them not long after I started bouldering as I didn't want to keep paying for rentals but wasn't willing to get a more expensive pair quite yet.
First off, definitely get a size down. I tried on a 6 and thought they were too tight so went for a 7 (which is my normal shoe size) which fit great initially. After you've worn them in and they stretch they won't be as snug as you need them to be, definitely get a size down.
I've been climbing in them for about 3 months now, I go bouldering twice a week and have just started to climb some V2 routes. They were great up until recently, they've lost a lot of the grip they had before and I find I'm slipping a lot more and don't have as much grip as I did previously.
I only bought them to start off with so they've definitely served their purpose, would definitely recommend if you're starting out or climbing between VB-V1, but I think passed V2 or if you're climbing regularly you definitely need a more durable pair
I have bought this when I first started bouldering 3-4 months ago.
I wear size 3 shoes usually, when i tried size 3 on at first it fit quite tight and was really uncomfortable in store so I went for a size 4 which was perfect (without socks on ofc). After a few weeks it did stretch and ever since then it is only comfortable with socks on, I wish I would have went for the size 3!
I have no issues with the sturdiness of it, it holds really well, the rubber is starting to rub off a bit but that is expected. As I started to climb V3 and V4 routes I do feel like I need better shoes, but that was expected as well.
Overall great shoes to start with, happy with this purchase.
Comfortable and pretty tough so far.
