Since getting these at the end of January they have served me well on several trail runs.
Purchased these shoes as my everyday trail running shoes to deal with the muddy trails where I live.
They have exceeded my expectations, been really comfortable, very grippy and hardwearing.
I've subsequently used them for the Saunders Mountain marathon and a 54mile ultra on the way to covering over 1,250km in them. Grip still adequate, better than the previous XT7s as the uppers are still sound.
I'll be getting another pair soon!
I bought these shoes in local store in 2021 spring. Walked maybe 30km and saved them for special occasion. In general as was very happy with grip, cushion, wideness and general performance. And special occasion came, I went for Tour Mont Black tour in the Alps. After 100km they failed - the finishes started to peel off and worst part is that the front sole came that much off so that I couldn't glue it anymore. I think this was because of wet conditions and rocky terrain. Try these shoes more seriously before a real hike. Best luck to all hikers.
Hi,
Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a product review. It is unfortunate to hear this has happened with the MT2 shoes as these are testing in the most averse weather conditions and have a durability rating of 1000km. We will pass this feedback onto the brand.

I bought these for orienteering. I used them last week and they performed brilliantly in mud and wet grassy conditions. I am so happy with them that I have just bought a second pair. By the time these wear out I doubt the same design will be unavailable. So I have a spare pair ready! Love them. So comfortable, kept my feet warm on a really cold day and protected my feet very well from the poor weather conditions.
Bought these as a trial to use on a couple of 3-4 day long distance backpacking trips
Very impressed with the traction from the sole . Replaced the insoles for something with more arch support and it made them super comfy.
My only issue is the toe box could be a little larger more like Altras.
But for the money they have been great
Replacing a previous pair which were excellent
It seem to be a good shoe when trying on in the shop, but after brisk walking for a bit more than 5 minutes, I noticed the poor fit of the left shoe. I decided to give it two weeks, to make sure its not just getting used to a new shoe. Whilst the right one fits perfectly, the left appears to have not been properly centered on the heel. I never had that issue before with any other shoe and suspect a poor manufacturing of the left shoe.
Had the previous incarnation of these shows in Black, brown and white. Lasted me a good while (3+ years) so time for some new ones. Really like the mesh lace holder in the tongue. Lightweight, supportive, highly recommend for a heavy footed runner!
Slateman Triathlon features run up Dinorwig slate quarry with technical descent through woods above Llanberis. Excellent cushioning for uneven terrain. Some rocks are size of bricks. Good grip on smooth slate steps. Brilliant stability for descent. Particularly like to wider toe box for my feet. Size 8 (42) fits me perfectly (true size for me, usually I need to size up). Looking forward to use them in the trail marathon on yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)
A stunning, stable and superb grip on Hockey Astro pitches. Has excellent toe protection as well. Would highly recommend these trail shoes for hockey players. England O70s hockey squad player.
