Fits well and great value
Good
I use there almost exclusively for cross country running. Grip is very good and the cushioning moderate. Coming from various models of Hokas they feel very flat and don’t absorb impact shock nearly as well. However they’re pretty good for their price. Reduced £70 to £50 they were a good but not spectacular buy. At the full price I’d be inclined to shop around for alternatives.
Comfortable trainers which are great for off road running but also good for a 5/6 mile run on road/pavement.
Very comfortable, seem well made, and perfect for off road walking and running (some scrambling too).
Review: Kiprun TR2 Men's Trail Running Shoes - Beige/Yellow Rating: 2/5 Pros: The cushioning underfoot is quite thick, which offers decent comfort on trails. It helps absorb impact, so that part is pretty good. Cons: The shoes are heavy, which makes running feel tiring over time. Ventilation is very poor. My feet overheated quickly, and there’s not enough airflow to keep them cool. The overall build quality feels cheap. It’s not terrible, but the materials feel low-end, and I honestly don’t expect these shoes to last long with regular use. Other thoughts: To be honest, there are many better trail running shoes out there from other brands that offer more breathability and are lighter. The value for money is just okay — but at £50, it feels a bit overpriced. If it were around £40, that would be fairer. I just don’t think it’s worth £50. Conclusion: Not horrible, but disappointing overall. Comfort is decent, but let down by weight, poor ventilation, and questionable durability. You can find better options at a similar or slightly higher price.
We’re sorry King Shum, that’s not the result we were aiming for! We appreciate you telling us where we fell short. We’ll be looking into this and working on our efforts to improve.
Really comfy and good looking trainer. Grips well.
Great grip on and off road. Excellent value for money. Larger than expected maybe by a half a size.
Excellent. Ran the Snowdon trail marathon in these.
No sign of wear, I have to remember to change my shoes when I compete in a round race because these shoes are such good alrounders.
