Half way through first hike on of my sticks just fell loose at the top joint and remained that way. So not so good at all.
Very good. They helped with grip on the more stoney or rocky ground as well as in the rivers. So far they do seem to do their job well. Also helpful for balance . I was almost not buying these, but glad I did. To me they were a good buy. They seem to be resilient and have very good grip. They just give you that extra little bit of insurance, balance wise. Happy customer.
Goo grip, well factored in flexibility
Having brought trekking poles from our local mountaineering store, their plastic bits lasted only one hike through a valley. These are hard wearing, provide great cushioning and decent traction (awkward angles will get punished).
you probably don't need another for some time after purchasing these.
Nicely robust. Happy.
Great add-on to MT500 poles, more comfortable to walk on tarmac.
When I bought my hiking poles from Decathlon I didn't realise they came without caps. I made a trip to my local store to look for these caps specially. The customer service chap very nearly turned the store upside down to find them for me: I kid you not!
It was well worth it: they were easy to fit and secure once in place.
They have served me well on a recent hike and show no wear at all.
Noise is minimal.
I recommend.
The rubber is strong. I thought, they might come off after a few uses but found them very sturdy.
Does what it says
These look pricey compared to what's available from the amaz online retailer but they give better grip and last much much longer. Used on a 12 day portuguese camino hike on Decathlon carbon running poles walking on granite cobbles and tarmac. They have barely started to wear. My friend had some amaz ones and they wore through in 3 days. Had to give him the spare pair of caps I'd brought for me!!
