Despite being advertised on the bike page as an add-on, they don't fit the Riverside 500 bike I just bought very well. The rear one fits but is very short; the front one does not fit at all as the hole on the fork is completely different to the screws included with this.
Mudguard far too small for 28" wheel - I arrive wet, muddy and miserable
I bought these mudguards on-line alongside a Riverside 500 hybrid bike. The rear mudguard is OK and easy to install (though it is rather short as other reviewers have commented). But I cannot fit the front mudguard as there isn't a hole in the front fork that I can use to to attach it.
Suitable for requirements, fitted for free
I've bought those mudguards for my Riverside 500 and they are OK, but the rear one is just too short. Maybe they're fine for 24'' but I wouldn't recommend them for 28''. After 15 minutes of commuting to work under drizzle, my back is completely dirty despite the fact that I drive only on asphalt.
Two days of rain with these mudguards, have so far had to wash clothes and bag twice because the back one is too short to be of any use at all, even though protecting one from rain is literally its only function
Replaced a screw for a longer one as was a bit tight on my rear post
