On the plus side:
I feel cold when I run. These are rated to be worn between 0-10 degrees C but I have worn them when it is a bit warmer and colder and still been comfortable.
Stay warm when wet - running through mud and trails they have not chilled my calves when wet.
Comfortable - I went commando in these for a month. Shorter distances/ running times you should be fine. I love the ankle zips - no rubbing and so much easier to peel off when you are knackered at the end of a long run.
Pocket: Size is good for a card and keys , maybe some running gloves at a squeeze.
Value for Money: They're about average price for the market but seem well made. Have run in them at least once a week and caked them in mud. They still look like new.
Cons:
Longer runs (over an hour or 2) I have got some chafing in places that shall not be named. A good pair of running underwear sorted this out.
Pocket on the back will carry a phone ... if it is an iphone SE or similar. 3 out of 4 phones from my family will not fit!
Almost no reflective elements despite clearly being for winter use.
Overall: I have been looking to get another pair of these for over a month and they are always sold out in my size. Says it all. They're a great addition to my running wardrobe and get you outside on those days when the weather might otherwise stop you.

These ripped in the groin area after one seasons average use. Not very stretchy either like my previous adidas pair. Really poor value

Sizing is great when trying on / walking. However, when running I found it had to keep sinching them up and refitting. I tried various heights on the waist and tying the chord but then found this a little restrictive around.
It’s a shame as they feel nice quality, look good etc but just lack a little in the functionality.

These won't be the best at anything under around minus 2 centigrade, but let's face it, how often does it get that cold here in the UK. Anything above that and these are the bees knees, plenty warm enough, enough pockets and to date, no chafing. For the price, a great product.
